Abstract
We present to the readers the author's digest of just published the second edition of the publishing house ROSSPEN (first in 2002) the memoirs of one of the most experienced Russian diplomats. During the ten years, the author represented our country in Mexico and has made a great contribution to the development of bilateral political, business and cultural ties. Contained in the memoirs true estimates and judgments have not lost their significance to this day.
