Abstract
The article deals with the Franklin Roosevelts phenomenon. The 32nd president of the USA played a vital role not only in the U.S. history but also in the lives of all humanity. He was a real fi gure of the 19th century as a leader of American people in war against poverty during the Great depression (1929-1939) and as a great statesman and diplomat during the Second World War whose contribution for the creation of the Antihitlerite coalition couldnt be overestimated.
