Abstract

Eurasian initiative, launched by the President of the Republic of Korea Park Geun-Hye in October 2013, has become a major project that South Korea is currently promoting at the international level. The article deals with the analysis of the proposals contained in the Eurasian initiative of the Republic of Korea and their assessment from the angle of Russian interests in the region. The authors consider the approach of President Park Geun-Hye towards North Korea and its policy on Korean unification.
