- Abstract
The following questions discussed: 1) how global economic crisis affects the development of science- intensive industries and their innovation activity? 2) how will the prevalence of science-intensive and high-tech sector in the national economy affect its adaptive abilities during macroeconomic changes? Attention is paid to the branches constituting the science-intensive and high-tech sector of economy, such as energy and transport machine building, machine-tool construction, instrument engineering, etc.
