Abstract
Certain results of the development by the author of the foundations of legal scientometrics are discussed. Some scientometric characteristics of Russian legal scholars - doctors of Law - are described. A citation rating scale - "evaluation rating scale of scientific research by doctors of Law in demand” - is proposed. Doctors of Law the most and least [frequently] cited in Russian legal science journals during 2007-2011 are depicted. Suggestions as to how to improve evaluation of legal scholars and legal research in Russian legal science are made.
