Abstract
The article deals with urgent problems of development of the legislation of the Russian Federation in conditions of the need to solve the problems in countering threats and challenges to the security of childhood. The author makes concrete suggestions on improvement of the legislation, arguing their appropriateness as based on their own beliefs and on the attitudes prevailing in the literature.
