Abstract
The article is based on the analysis of activities and reporting by first Canadian Ambassadors and Chargés d’affaires in Moscow - Dana Wilgress (1942-1947), John W. Holmes (1947-1948), and Robert Ford (1947, 1951-1954, 1964-1980), who have had a significant influence on the formulation and implementation of Canadian Government’s policy towards the Soviet Russia
